I helped someone else get hired - first time posting

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. It has been a long 9 weeks. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Anyone else paying it forward?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
