I helped someone else get hired - any advice?

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I was nervous but it went well. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

I hope I can do the same when I am back on my feet.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
