I helped someone else get hired - any advice?

A neighbour told me about her job search, and I shared a lead I found here. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
