I helped someone else get hired after 7 years as an accounts payable clerk

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. This is my first time dealing with any of this. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Anyone else paying it forward?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Thanks for sharing. It makes the forum better.
