I helped someone else get hired

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
