I helped someone else get hired - 4 weeks in

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I was nervous but it went well. It really does come around.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
