I helped someone else get hired - 20 weeks in

I referred a former colleague for a role at my new company. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
