I helped someone else get hired - 14 months and counting

I reviewed a friend's résumé and he got an interview. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It felt good to give something back after others helped me. Thank you for the advice that got me here.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
