I got an interview after 7 applications - what worked for you?

It took 13 weeks, but I have a first interview on Wednesday. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I tailored my résumé and added a short note. Any last-minute tips?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
