I got an interview after 7 applications - what worked for you?

It took 18 weeks, but I have a first interview on Friday. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. They liked my volunteering experience. What did you ask at the end of the interview?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
