I got an interview after 5 applications - what worked for you?

It took 19 weeks, but I have a first interview on Friday. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I tailored my résumé and added a short note. Any last-minute tips?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
