I got an interview after 18 applications - 5 months and counting

A recruiter called me back after a long silence. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I tailored my résumé and added a short note. How do you stay calm?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
