First paycheck after the layoff - what worked for you?

I finally caught up on rent after the layoff as a line cook. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I called the lender and they worked with me. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

That must feel amazing. Thanks for sharing.
