First paycheck after the layoff - what worked for you?

I finally caught up on rent after the layoff as an electrician's helper. I made a list of what to pay first. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Congratulations! Small wins matter a lot.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
