First paycheck after the layoff - what worked for you?

My first paycheck after 14 weeks arrived today. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. I made a list of what to pay first. Wanted to share a good day.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
