First paycheck after the layoff (update)

I paid off a bill that had been weighing on me. Any experience at all would help. It is a small amount, but it feels huge. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
