First paycheck after the layoff, payroll clerk here

Tariq Prieto · 2026-05-07T10:10:54.973Z

I finally caught up on rent after the layoff as a payroll clerk. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It is a small amount, but it feels huge.
