First paycheck after the layoff, line cook here

Malaika Andersson · 2026-05-14T14:59:51.533Z

I finally caught up on rent after the layoff as a line cook. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I made a list of what to pay first. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
