First paycheck after the layoff - any advice?

I paid off a bill that had been weighing on me. I made a list of what to pay first. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
