First paycheck after the layoff - any advice?

My first paycheck after 7 weeks arrived today. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It is a small amount, but it feels huge. Hoping it is the start of a better run.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 4 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
