First paycheck after the layoff after 5 years as a call-centre agent

I paid off a bill that had been weighing on me. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I called the lender and they worked with me.

Enjoy it. Go and have a cup of tea on the day.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
