First paycheck after the layoff after 15 years as a janitorial supervisor

I paid off a bill that had been weighing on me. I worked as a janitorial supervisor before this. It is a small amount, but it feels huge.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
