Finished my certificate course - what worked for you?

I finished a short course in Spokane while looking for work as a school bus driver. It has been a long 11 weeks. I already had an interview request. What should I aim for next?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
