Finished my certificate course - what worked for you?

I finished a short course in Richmond while looking for work as a mechanic. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. It was hard to study with so much going on.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
