Finished my certificate course - what worked for you?

I finished a short course in Detroit while looking for work as a quality inspector. It has been weighing on me all week. I already had an interview request. What should I aim for next?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
