Finished my certificate course (Raleigh)

I finished a short course in Raleigh while looking for work as a software tester. Any experience at all would help. A friend helped me with practice tests. What should I aim for next?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
