Finished my certificate course, electrician's helper here

I finished a short course in San Diego while looking for work as an electrician's helper. It was hard to study with so much going on. What should I aim for next?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
