Finished my certificate course - any advice?

I finished a short course in Charlotte while looking for work as a welding apprentice. I worked as a welding apprentice before this. I already had an interview request. What should I aim for next?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
