Completed training while job hunting - first time posting

I finished a short course in Birmingham while looking for work as a bookkeeper. Any experience at all would help. It was hard to study with so much going on. What should I aim for next?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
