Completed training while job hunting - any advice?

I passed my exam on the second try. I am in Tampa, in case local advice matters. A friend helped me with practice tests. Thanks for the encouragement.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
