Back pay finally came through - what worked for you?

The state finally resolved my claim after a long wait. I do not usually post, so bear with me. It covered the rent I was behind on. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

This gives me hope. I am on week 6 of waiting.
