Back pay finally came through - any advice?

After 17 weeks my unemployment claim was approved. It has been a long 17 weeks. It covered the rent I was behind on. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
