Approved after an appeal - what worked for you?

I won my appeal and the back pay arrived this week. Thank you in advance. I kept my records and followed up calmly. I wanted to share in case it helps someone else.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
