Approved after an appeal (update)

I won my appeal and the back pay arrived this week. I am in Wichita, in case local advice matters. I am so relieved. I wanted to share in case it helps someone else.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
