Approved after an appeal - any advice?

I won my appeal and the back pay arrived this week. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. It covered the rent I was behind on. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
