Approved after an appeal - 8 months and counting

After 2 weeks my unemployment claim was approved. I am in Birmingham, in case local advice matters. It covered the rent I was behind on. Keep going if you are waiting.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
