Accepted an offer after 9 months (Sacramento)

After 9 months I accepted a job as an event coordinator. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. Any advice for starting over?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
