Accepted an offer after 9 months (Omaha)

I start on Monday after a long search. I worked as an IT help-desk technician before this. I could not have done it without this community. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
