Accepted an offer after 9 months - 9 months and counting

I start on Monday after a long search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I could not have done it without this community. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
