Accepted an offer after 9 months - 12 weeks in

I start on Monday after a long search. I worked as a medical assistant before this. I am relieved and a bit nervous. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
