Accepted an offer after 8 months (update)

After 8 months I accepted a job as a hotel front-desk agent. This is my first time dealing with any of this. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 8 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
