Accepted an offer after 8 months

They called on Wednesday with an offer and I said yes right away. There are 6 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
