Accepted an offer after 7 months (update)

After 7 months I accepted a job as a pharmacy technician. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am relieved and a bit nervous. What helped you in the first month?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
