Accepted an offer after 5 months - what worked for you?

I start on Monday after a long search. I could not have done it without this community. Any advice for starting over?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
