Accepted an offer after 5 months - first time posting

After 5 months I accepted a job as a teaching assistant. I worked as a teaching assistant before this. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. How do you handle the first week?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
