Accepted an offer after 5 months

They called on Friday with an offer and I said yes right away. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

That is wonderful news. Keep applying for a little while if you have not signed, it is a good habit.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
