Accepted an offer after 3 months - what worked for you?

They called on Tuesday with an offer and I said yes right away. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am relieved and a bit nervous. How do you handle the first week?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
