Accepted an offer after 3 months - any advice?

After 3 months I accepted a job as a customer-service rep. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I could not have done it without this community. What helped you in the first month?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
