Accepted an offer after 2 months - first time posting

I start on Monday after a long search. I have been trying to stay organised about it. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. Any advice for starting over?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
