Accepted an offer after 14 months

After 14 months I accepted a job as a customer-service rep. Any experience at all would help. It is not my dream role, but the pay is fair and the people are kind. What helped you in the first month?

Well earned. Ask questions early, even small ones. People liked it.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
